Pets Benefit From Chiropractic Care Too

All animals benefit from chiropractic care, but dogs, cats and horses benefit most.  Chiropractic, a natural form of health care, is drug-free, deals with the nervous system housed inside the spine, and is not just for back pain.

How Do You Know If Your Pet Needs Chiropractic Care?

By far the most common complaint from owners is that their pet is just not his or herself; in other words, a change in behavior.  Animals may exhibit lameness, stiffness, lack of energy, or lack of coordination.  Arthritis or hip dysplasia, chronic health problems, and recovery from injury or surgery may be helped with chiropractic care.  Animals “listen” to their bodies.  They let us know when their body isn’t functioning at its optimum by sleeping more, being inactive, or seeming unhappy!  Chiropractic care can help athletic animals by improving healing from injuries and optimizing performance.

With chiropractic care normal motion is restored, nerve irritation is removed and the body is able to heal and function at its optimum level.  Most animals ENJOY the treatment without any signs of pain.  Although healing takes time, many animals show immediate improvement.

Whether your pet is an athlete, a “weekend warrior”, or your devoted friend and constant companion, regular chiropractic care can be beneficial.

A referral for animal chiropractic from a veterinarian is not necessary.
Chiropractic is not a replacement for regular, traditional veterinary care.
Animal chiropractic should only be performed by a Certified Animal Chiropractor (or veterinarian certified in animal chiropractic).
