About Dr. Susan Shaw

Dr. Shaw and her husband Steve, live with their ”fur children”, Jazz and Pearl.

Susan received her first chiropractic adjustment shortly after birth.  Her father, Dr. Ian Shaw, practiced chiropractic in Hamilton for 41 years, and her brother, Dr. Greg Shaw currently practices in Oakville, Ontario.

She received her Honours Bachelor of Science Degree from McMaster University.  In 1990 she graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and moved to Barrie to start her practice.  In 1998 she moved into a new office, located at 157 Bradford Street in the heart of Barrie, Ontario.  At this location she provides a healing environment for individuals and families including their four legged friends.

Since graduating in 1990, she has continued her chiropractic studies receiving a certificate in Pediatric Chiropractic from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (1996), and certification in Animal Chiropractic from both the International and American Veterinary Chiropractic Associations (2005).
Susan provides subluxation-based chiropractic care employing a variety of techniques with both people and animals that enable her to help each individual in a unique manner.
